NATIONAL MEETING

The SCOA will host the 1997 National Meeting in Madison, Wisconsin, on May 1, 2, 3 & 4, 1997. Arrivals on Wednesday evening, April 30, will be welcomed with a members reception. The national meeting events will include the Election results, General Business Meeting, conformation and obedience trials and Field Hunt tests. A microchip clinic and seminars on OFA and PennHIP are all in the offering. There will be ample time (see schedule below) to socialize with like-minded Spinone Lovers! Events Judges:

Coming from Italy to judge the CONFORMATION events will be the respected Judge DiPinto. Msr. DiPinto will also observe our field hunting trials and comment on the Spinone breed in America.

The SCOA HUNTING events will judged by Victor J. Connors (NAVHDA President, 1996) and Norman Prima (NAVHDA Judge)

The obedience trials will be judged by (TBA)

Seminars:

To discuss hip dysplasia testing will be (TBA) to present PennHIP methodologies and Melinda Cummings, DVM will inform us of OFA methods.

"Beginning Competitive Obedience" will be presented by John C. Kerr, What is it? and Where do you start?
