WELCOME TO KENTUCKY!!

Kentucky is a land of romance and legends, mountain folklore and crafts.

Kentucky's rich heritage is on display at hundreds of sites across the state.  You can visit the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, the fort founded by Daniel Boone, and the homes of Henry Clay and George Rogers Clay.

Bluegrass music was born in Kentucky.  Barbecue and fried chicken were perfected here.  Kentucky craftsmanship, inspired by necessity in pioneer days, reflects a tradition of excellence recognized the world over.

The thoroughbred is Kentucky's most recognizable icon.  The yearlings romping in bluegrass pastures and the champions thundering to the finish line are part of a 200 year Kentucky tradition.

With mountains, lush forests, hugh waterfalls, ancient gorges, and vast sparkling lakes, outdoor recreation doesn't get better than this.

This year's meeting will be held at Kavanaugh Life Enrichment Center  in the quiet setting of the rural town of Crestwood.   Kavanaugh Life Enrichment Center sits on approximately 50 acres in the center of Crestwood.  The Center dates to Pre-Civil War days with the meeting hall and two homes still in use.  The facility has a dinning hall, small 19 room motel, a small lake,  paths for walks in the woods, an area for bonfires, and plenty of on site parking.  It is convenient to stores, restaurants, shopping malls and movie theaters.  If you like to fish, bring your fishing gear, no license will be required on
site.

We are planning something for everyone, whether your Spinone is a house pet, show dog, obedience dog or field dog--we will have something for you!

Many of you have asked about the weather in Kentucky in April.  The average temperature for the month of April is 56.3 degrees with the average precipitation being 3.8 inches.  Plan to bring jackets and rain gear, just in case!!

Rooms on site are limited.  Area motels which accept dogs are:
Days Inn, LaGrange, Ky.  1-502-222-7192
Best Western, LaGrange, Ky. 1-502-222-5500

LaGrange is approximately 10 miles from the meeting site.
