Howard Falberg has been involved with Golden Retrievers since 1969. He and his wife have either bred or owned over 30 Champions. His activities over the years in the Golden world include President of the Hudson Valley Golden Retriever Club, General Chairman of the 1993 National Specialty, Vice-President of the Golden Retriever Club of America and its AKC Delegate. In this last capacity, Mr. Falberg serves on the Delegate Parent Club Committee. In addition, he is President of the Longshore- Southport Kennel Club and an AKC judge licensed to judge the entire Sporting Group. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the AKC Canine Health Foundation.
Robert M. Brown, DVM, an Army Veterinary Corps veteran of Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and DaNang, VietNam, is a small animal practitioner with a special interest in theriogenology and dermatology. He has published articles in both professional journals and breed club magazines and is the author of three breed specific medical books. He has served on the Board of the County Humane Society for three terms and is past president of the Dog Federation of Wisconsin, a legislative watchdog for dog laws. His breeding activities include showing and breeding over 50 Great Pyrenees champions and one English Cocker Spaniel champion. He is a five-term president of the Great Pyrenees Club of America and has been the AKC Delegate since 1982. He currently judges the Working and Herding Groups. He belongs to two All-Breed Clubs, two Parent Clubs and one local Specialty Club. He has served on a number of AKC committees including the Auction Committee, Surgical Correction Committee, and now the Nominating Committee while chairing the Delegate Parent Clubs Committee
