The Sweepstakes is open to all Spinoni Italiani who are 6 months and under 18 months of age on the day of the show. All dogs entered in Sweepstakes must also be entered in a Regular Class. Sweepstakes will be judged prior to the Regular Classes. Indicate "Sweepstakes" and age division on the regular entry form under Additional Classes. Entry fee is $15.00.

The Spinone Club of
America, Inc. will retain 30% of the Sweepstakes entry fees for expenses. The
balance will be distributed
as follows:
First
in Each Class 25% of the remaining entry fees in that class
Second in Each Class 20% of the remaining entry fees in that class
Third in Each Class 15% of the remaining entry fees in that class
Fourth in Each Class 10% of the remaining entry fees in that class
Best in Sweepstakes 18% of total remaining entry fees
Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Sweepstakes 12% of total remaining entry fees
VETERAN SWEEPSTAKES

The Veteran
Sweepstakes is open to any Spinone Italiano seven (7) years or older on the date
of Sweepstakes. There is no requirement that the dog or bitch be entered in any
other class at this show, although it may be designated as an additional class.
Veterans may be spayed or neutered. Entry fee is $15.00 (including 50c AKC
recording fee). To enter, write "Veteran Sweepstakes" in the space for
dog show class, or in the box for additional class as appropriate. Judging of
the Veteran Sweepstakes will take place after Puppy Sweepstakes and before
Regular Breed Judging.

30% of all entry fees will be retained by the Club for
expenses.
The remaining 70% of entry fees will be distributed as follows:

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
Telegraph, Telephone and Unsigned Entries Cannot Be Accepted. Entries Not On Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Entry Fees-Each Day: $20.00 for the first entry of a dog and $15.00 for each additional entry of the same dog. Obedience $20.00 as a first entry & $15.00 for each additional entry of the same dog.
Entries Close 5:00 P.M. (EDT), FRIDAY, APRIL 6, 2001 at the Show

Make All Checks and Money Orders payable to Spinone Club of America. CANADIAN exhibitors must make fees payable in U.S. FUNDS. Please mail checks or money orders with entries. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identification cards.
A Recording Fee of 50c will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. This Recording Fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Recording Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 1 1, Section 2). No Entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Event Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made. Extreme weather conditions, such as, but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, lightning, extreme heat, must be considered for the health and safety of the dogs, exhibitors and spectators. The well-being of dogs, exhibitors and spectators is of paramount importance and, in the event it is necessary to cancel or stop the show before completion, no refund of entry fee will be made. Dogs May Arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges Will Not Wait for Any Dog Holding Up a Class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.

Doggie-Doo
Raffle
To
encourage responsible dog ownership, the SCOA presents the great doggie-doo
raffle! Each time an exhibitor cleans up after their dog, at the hotel, the show
grounds, or the hunt test grounds, all they have to do is to notify one of the
grounds committee and they will be given a free raffle ticket. No tickets will
be for sale! Clean up, and get a chance to win great prizes donated by SCOA
members!
NOTICE
Anyone donating items for the annual SCOA auction, the silent auction, or the Doggie-Doo Raffle may either bring the items with them to the show or send them to:
