SPINONE AUCTION

Even if you can’t come to the meeting, please donate to this great cause!  Auction proceeds help defray the cost of the meeting.  If you are attending the meeting and bringing items with you, please contact Patti Lovelady to let her know beforehand.  (This will give her more opportunity to prepare.)  She’ll need to know your name, a description of the item, retail cost/value of the item, and a proposed starting bid (which should be MUCH lower than retail to encourage bidding).  Please note* SEND auction items to Nancy Young and please call Patti with the description of the item.  We don’t want Patti to be transporting the items half way across the country. If you’d like to send auction items ahead of time, you can send them to:

Nancy Young
90 Weatherby
Wright City, MO 63390

If you need to talk with Patti, or Nancy contact them at:

PLEASE NOTE!

Separate entry forms and fees are REQUIRED for AKC conformation, AKC obedience, AKC hunt tests, and NAVHDA hunt tests, and they all have different deadlines for receipt.  Please make sure that you send the appropriate paperwork and funds to the proper place in time for them to be received before the closing dates so that you aren’t left out of an event that you want to participate in.

If you would like to register for NAVHDA hunt tests, contact Alyssa Pease, (703) 765-5715.

Please contact Patti or Nancy (above) for entry forms or for more information

ALSO NOTE

AKC rules prohibit puppies less than 6 months of age from being on the grounds at any AKC event.  This would include the conformation show, obedience trial, and AKC hunt tests.  There will be areas at Twin Lakes Sporting Club that will be open to puppies during these events.  Please make sure that you are aware of the event boundaries and keep puppies away from prohibited areas.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT…

CERF:  You will need to have your dog’s AKC registration number, AKC registered name, whelp date, and Microchip/Tattoo # (if applicable)

CGC and Therapy Dog testing:  A dog MUST be one year of age to take the therapy dog test; less than one year of age can do the Canine Good Citizen test.  All dogs tested must be on buckle collars – no choke collars or slip collars of any type, no head harnesses permitted.  Owners must present proof of current rabies vaccination to the test administrator at the time of the test.  A tag is not proof – you must have your original certificate from your veterinarian.  If you do not have proof, your dog cannot be tested.  If your dog is AKC registered, you should have the dog’s AKC registration number & registered name with you to assist the tester in filling out the AKC paperwork.
