2008 SCOA Photo Contest
(pictures for the 2009 Spinone
Calendar)

can’t believe it is time to start thinking about the photo contest!!!!
Please support this wonderful breed for their health and for the ones
who need rescued and start taking those photos and sending them in.
So as
you are watching your beloved Spinone with camera in hand, remember
these categories:

Just Being Spinone
-
Field and Water
-
Puppies
-
Rescue Dogs
There
will be a winner from each category, and an over-all winner will be
chosen from them. The winner will be the cover picture for the 2009
calendar. The other winners from each category will be the main focus
picture on a calendar page. All winners will receive a 2009 calendar.
No
professional photos please. They will be eliminated.
Please
use high resolution digital or 35mm film. These
make clearer pictures when enlarged and transferred to the calendar
pages. If you win the cover, we will want you to email us the photo as
large as you can send it.
Submit 4x6 photos only
No email photos will be accepted.
Put yours and your dogs name on the back of each photo
(address labels work nicely), and which category you want your pictures
entered into. Also this year I am asking everyone to put his or her
email address on the back. I had people forget to do
this so if you*win* I will not know who you are if you do not put your
name and contact information on the back of your pictures.
Those
who would like their photos returned, please include a SASE
with submitted photos. (It may take a while to get your photos
back to you, but they will be returned). Please double check and make
sure you have put the correct postage on the return envelope.
I had about 5 people who forgot, and that comes out of my pocket!
Cost will be $6.00 for the 1st photo and $2.00 for each additional photo
after that.
Deadline is: March 16, 2008
