The "Spinone Only" Field Dog Training Days offers a rare opportunity for Spinone handlers of all experience levels to work with their dogs and meet other owners of this special breed.

The location, Bowdoinham's Merry Meeting Bay Wildlife Refuge, is a postcard perfect setting in southern Maine with plenty of fields, woods and water.

The event is hosted by SCOA members Chris Chadwick (founding member of NAVHDA) and Lena Amirian (long-time field dog trainer). Chris and Lena ensure that everyone from the (nervous) novice to the seasoned veteran receives friendly, personalized instruction tailored to his or her dog, its age and its experience level.

Both Chris and Lena hunt with their dogs throughout the season (Chris is also a   Registered Maine Guide), and this training clinic should not be missed by anyone who owns a Spinone for hunting.
