Incredible web pages! I am a Standard Schnauzer Rescue person and found your recue page to be terrific. Our future interest in digs is a Spinone so we are checking out the breed now(I have 3 boys). I would like to kno if anyone, in particular Jim or the lady in Pa., is breeding for field trials and hunting. Some hunting dogs are bred separately for show or field. Let me know. Right now we are involved in showing our standard Schnauzer but I used to follow the Brittany Spaniel field trial circuit and would like to turn from show to field. Thanks.

A very interesting site about a very interesting breed. I've only had German Shepherds and mutts but became interested in Spinones after reading about them in Dog Fancy Magazine. Maybe someday... P.S. T he music is a nice touch.

Interested in a all around hunting breed. I have had labs for 22 years and ready for a change. I like the idea of a dog that can flush birds as well as retreive waterfowl...I am an avid hunter looking for a very trainable dog that can do it all....!!

I own a 6 year old male Spinone. He has had chronic ear infections for the past four years! We have tried everything, and as you know, even the best Specialists are not always familiar with the Spinone. The latest reccommendation was to remove the inner ear. Great site; very informative. I own a female spinone, Camilla, with a great pedigree. I took her back yesterday from Italy where she was bred with a great champ. I went in Perugia, Italy, to the local office for Ente Cinofilo Italiano to find out how to register the puppies after they are born. Hi! We have a beautiful Spinone girl called "Fliss". She is 6 months old and is generally well behaved except that it two nights of destruction she has chewed the corner off the top of our kitchen table, chewed the leg of another table, and half eaten a birthday card with a £35 cheque in it. love the info on the Spinone Italiano, I am considering giving a Spinone a home, I have two dogs, 15 and 11 (Bichons). We live near the ocean and want a retriever that is good with children and other animals. I think the Spinone is a great looking dog, however, I would like more information on the coat of the Spinone. I heard once upon a time that the dog was next to non-shedding? Is this true? Hi, Just stopped by to check in on the irresistible spinoni. We have one of Guido Malandrucculo's pups from 5 years ago. He- Guido- weighs 92 pounds now and loves to hunt grouse out here in Colorado. I wonder is there a way to become eligible to adopt one of the rescue dogs- my mother would love another Spinoni, and Guido would love a friend.

I've realy enjoyed your web site. The Spinone seems like a GREAT DOG.I have always had Irish Setters. I lost my last Setter and am considering getting two new dogs. A Setter and a Spinone seem like a great combination for my situation.
